DANIELLE CATANZARITI
At just 17 years of age, actor and 2010 Young South Australian of the Year, Danielle Catanzariti has achieved more than most.
Danielle has worked with and alongside Aussie acting royalty including Cate Blanchett and Toni Collette. She has also been awarded the prestigious AFI Young Actor Award for her role in the film Hey, Hey It’s Esther Blueburger. Despite her success, Danielle is aware that many of her peers are facing the enormous challenge that is cancer.
“I can’t begin to image how cancer would affect my life and pursuit to be an actress. But I know cancer is a brutal reality many young Aussies are facing right now! I want to help fight this battle. But it can only be won with a strong army of people. Sony Foundation and CanTeen are building this army so people my age have a chance. With their help the next generation of Aussies can live a great life and fulfil their dreams.”
